What I mean is God is TRYING to express itself through you in the form of love, creativity, unity, happiness and so forth. These are the true qualities of GOD. However, God or Spirit have given us what is called FREEWILL. So we can act as we choose to. Most people are trying to run their lives based on their intellect. They are so disconnected from their hearts, their true nature, that they end up making those disastrous decisions which leads them to pain, anger, revenge, sorrow, etc., which are the total opposites of the qualities of GOD. So yes, God is always trying to express Itself thought you, the key is, you have to really listen. Not with your mind but with your heart. Through your feelings. As someone once said, if you really want to know God, you must be OUT of your mind. The mind that is not tamed, is run by the ego, which creates separation and destruction. So really, God's work is another word for Heart's work. So if you are happy, joyous, at peace, doing what you love, you are listening to God who is expressing through you. If on the other hand you are unhappy, miserable, broke, in pain, you are ignoring the God that is trying to express through you and replacing it with your own ego thoughts, your own intellect.
