I'll give you one answer. I don't know! However, that being said, here is what I can concluded based on all the spiritual teachings I have been exposed to which to me, seems to fit your questions.

Imagining that someone is born with a condition that "happen" to them is like saying that it was an accident.

My understanding, and is also my belief, there are NO accidents in the world. There are no such thing as coincidences. Everything happen in divine order.

The question is, the a soul before entering a body CHOSE a body that was physically challenged? Of did the soul HAPPENED to be born in a body that is physically challenged?

See Friend, I believe that each soul chooses a body in order to have whatever experience they want to have on a physical plane. I don't know why my soul chose such a great looking body like mine! :o)

I don't know why a soul would choose a body of a child that may or may not live beyond the age of 3. I don't know why a soul would choose a body that may be a vegetable for years.

I chose those examples because there are answers to them. Dr. Weiss, author of Many Lives, Many Masters, a Psychiatrist of Jewish descent, very linear thinking, only believing in hard cold facts. Never in his life would consider spirituality or metaphysics a them for conversation, have a sun who he looses it at the age of 5.

In his practice he comes across a patient who after treating and not getting any further, by mere "accident" and you know I am using that word very lightly, he decides to do self-hypnosis on her and try to bring her back to her formative years.

Something happened where she began to talk about scenes that would pretty much belong to another life. A past life. After that session she improves SO DRAMATICALLY that they did the same on a second session. On this one however, every when she would go between lives, a voice which she could not remember, would say very powerful words of wisdom, and they brought up the reason why his son, which Dr Weiss have never told ANYBODY died.

From that day on, Dr Weiss is one of the most thought-after author, speaker and bringer of light in the metaphysical and spiritual world. The other example is about a little beautiful girl in Miami who went into a come that have lasted over 30 years now and her mother have been by her side always. And it was told that some souls choose such experiences to help bring healing an unity to the world. It is said that they carry the Karma of many.

Now Friend, before going any further, I don't want you to think I am agreeing with everything I am writing. I am simply putting out there what I consider to be a fact, which in MY belief is, on a physical level we are always trying to explain everything we see.

While on the metaphysical or spiritual, or non-linear world, if you rather call it that way, things are happening in perfect order that is we would be willing to step aside, we could see the blessing in it!

That child born with whatever condition we may want to label it may be the one that change the life of a father who probably would have made much damage to his loved ones and the people around him had not been for the change of heart as a result of that child.

On a spiritual level, that child may have done the work it intended to do. And now is time to move on! I hope this makes some sense Friend. If it doesn't, it's okay. I am just a soul playing a character in the matrix of life who beliefs I am typing a letter to another soul called Friend, when indeed, I am typing this letter to myself because there is only one of us!
