Hi Friend, >my child has ADHD This one I have to be honest with you. I think that ADHD has become just an excuse to place labels on children. These are children like I was, who are very smart and the way they learned is simply different than the way the schools expect children to learn so they end up being labeled. If this brings some comfort, Dr. Wayne Dyer always reminds us that the child who will give you the most trouble will make you the most proud. And by the way, I am not saying your child is giving you trouble. What I am saying is that the ones who think for themselves like I was, end up being the presidents of corporations and the one who do everything the way they are told end up being the employees. I would go into alternative approaches and do some research. Many children have been misdiagnosed, just because they don't fit in. And in my humble opinion, I never fit in and will never either. Howard Thurman once said, "Everyone was born original, but most people die copies." That is just my opinion and I am sticking to it!
