Always remember the fact that life is just is, and the smooth times has to do with how you see things. But there is a third component and I am going to briefly go over it. You said: "I do pray and turn to God..."

Here is the problem. God wants to take the problems away from you. The challenge is YOU ARE NOT GIVING THEM AWAY TO GOD! In other words you are still hanging on to them. How? Simple. And please listen carefully. Because this is the key that will solve all of your problems.

EVERY THOUGHT IS A PRAYER!

Did you get that? Every single thought you put out into the universe is a prayer. If you say, "my live is not working" guess what the universe is going to give you? More evidence that shows that your life is not working. Not because it is not working but because God loves you so much that God wants to make sure you get everything you are asking for.

This is a very hard concept for most people to grasp. And that is because they are taught that God is a being that do things for you as opposed to the understanding that God gave you freewill so you can do as you please, so you can create the life you desire. The challenge is most people forget that they are creating their life unconsciously as opposed to consciously.

Why do you think every spiritual philosophy teaches some form of meditation and/or contemplation? Because that is a way to control the mind. Someone once said that the mind is a wonderful servant but a very terrible master.

And the reason you must take control of your thinking is because whatever you think about expands. So instead of praying for what you don't want, here is the key to effective prayer. Are you ready?

Be THANKFUL for what you already have. So do you want a loving family? Be thankful for that in ADVANCE. And watch the world around you begin to reflect back to you your new prayer.

I never pray, "God give me this or that." I always say, "God thank you for having manifested in my life that which I desire." And I just then sit back and watch the magic happen. Not on my time but in God's time. Because if something is not happening, I understand that maybe I cannot see the whole picture. But sooner or later, one thing is for certain, that which I desire will show up into my space easily and effortless or something better.

And if there is something I don't like or bothers my I ask myself, "What can I learn from this? What is the gift in this situation?" And the new me that emerge from that situation is just amazing. Then I can look back and say, now I see why that nodule had to show up in my life. And I thank it!

This one I have to be honest with you. I think that ADHD has become just an excuse to place labels on children. These are children like I was, who are very smart and the way they learned is simply different than the way the schools expect children to learn so they end up being labeled.

If this brings some comfort, Dr. Wayne Dyer always reminds us that the child who will give you the most trouble will make you the most proud. And by the way, I am not saying your child is giving you trouble. What I am saying is that the ones who think for themselves like I was, end up being the presidents of corporations and the one who do everything the way they are told end up being the employees.

I would go into alternative approaches and do some research. Many children have been misdiagnosed, just because they don't fit in. And in my humble opinion, I never fit in and will never either. Howard Thurman once said, "Everyone was born original, but most people die copies."

That is just my opinion and I am sticking to it!
