Success and Miracles: Ask Nick Arandes

Hi Friend,

I honor your situation while at the same time understand that it is an illusion that seem very real. In my early stages of growth, one of the most challenging things for me was to be able to afford the courses I though I needed to attend. It was frustrating because I really wanted to move forward but I didn't have the resources. Or should I say, I was under the "illusion" that I didn't have the financial resources.

After attending an introductory seminar in which they offered a course that was $2,000 plus food, accommodation and airfare, I was broke at the time, the trainer said to all of us that if our heart wanted us to take that course, we will default to whatever excuse we have used in the past which in my case was, I didn't have any financial resources.

Then he went on to say that in order to change our reality all we need to do is to simply challenge it. So I gave the last $100 dollars I had and committed to pay the course in full in three months.

Long story short, everything was paid off plus credit card debts and even more. That taught me a great lesson. Taught me to go beyond the illusion of what I can see and to realize that have he had given me the course for free, I would not have being able to have the experience of how the universe works. So, let's elaborate a bit on what you have written.

> Is there something special you could work for me?

Yes, and that is by forcing you to see the greatness and the power within you by you having the experience of committing to invest in yourself.

> I totally believe in everything you have to offer, but
> have rent and utilities to uphold.

That could mean that your heart is asking you to do something but your condition mind is trying to hold on to your beliefs which are the ones creating your present reality.

As Neale Donald Walsch reminds us that everything you desire, you have plenty of it right now. Only your thoughts that say that you don't have it is what makes it so.

> for another 5 months paying rent to a place where
> the cold just flows into the house, causing
> outrageous utility bills.

The challenge here is obvious. Read what you have written. "I am committed for another 5 months paying rent..." Your commitment is in paying rent, NOT in making more money or manifesting more money.

See how it works Friend? And as long as you are committed to paying more rent and keeping your focus there, guess what you will continue to attract in your life? More rent to pay.

It is temporary and will only pass the moment you shift your consciousness towards what you intend to create. And that shift can take place right NOW! But it start with you first being willing to listen to your heart. Because your heart knows the truth about who you are. And will always lead you to the place that can best serve you.

Whether it is my course of somebody else's, ultimately you have to make the decision of stepping up and by-pass your mind. And the best way that ensures you are committed to make something work, is when you are willing to invest in it.

Because in many cases, that commitment helps open a door that will reveal something we would have never known have not being for the courage to open that first door.

Believe me when I say that I don't have any challenges helping people, pretty much like I am doing right now. Remember Friend, I was homeless from 1997 to 1999.

Here is what I suggest, if you are attracted to the course and want to invest in it, go ahead and invest the full value of the course. Then notice that by the end of the 30-days, you were not only able to pay for it but you still were able to pay your rent and take care of your responsibilities.

In the meantime, here is a simple exercise to follow. From this day forward;

I want you to find 3 things you are grateful for. Do that every day. I want you to really feel it.
I also want you to write down 3 things you would like to attract by the end of 30 days.
For the 3 things you intend to attract, I want you to DO something about them in order to show the universe that you are serious about it.

So if for example you want to attract a new house on the ocean, I want you to contact a real estate agent and start looking at houses.

The first thing you are going to notice is how scary that may seem to you. Specially if you are trying to approach that task from the same mentality you are approaching your life right now. You may think, "I am wasting the realtor's time." Or, "Who am I to go into a mansion and ask for a price when I can barely pay my rent? And so on...

The truth is, to the universe, there is no such thing as scarcity. It is only in your mind. And the ONLY way you will be able to experience miracles is when you give the universe an opportunity to show them to you. And how do you do that? By listening to your heart and stepping into the seeming empty space between all that you see.

Here is the quick-sand thou. If you are trying to prove something, or as scriptures would say, "Do not put your Lord to the test," you are missing the point. This is not about trying to prove that you can make something happen. It is about recognizing the power and presence of God through you. So if the house on the ocean is a true desire, mover towards it. The key is, "true heart's desire."

What is your heart telling you? I can pretty much tell you what it is. In your own words;
