"Be
the Light that Shines this
Christmas!
As
you prepare to immerse yourself
in the rituals of the season by
decorating your home with lights
or shopping for the perfect
gifts, I encourage you to take
time to sit in the silence and
allow the light of God to
permeate your soul. Instead of
simply admiring the lights that
adorn Christmas trees, homes and
store displays, create an opening
to become a source of light that
blesses the world during this
sacred season.
We find that the theme of
light is a common thread in all
of the winter holidays celebrated
by various cultures. For example,
the celebration of the Winter
Solstice commemorates "the coming
of the sun" as the days begin to
grow longer once again. As
metaphysical Christians, we
acknowledge "the coming of the
son" by celebrating the emergence
of God's light within ourselves
and awaken to the birth of Christ
Consciousness in ourselves.
This glorious light of Christ
Consciousness is the best gift we
could possibly give a loved on as
a Christmas gift this year. Shine
your light of forgiveness, peace,
and unconditional love everywhere
you go this season and watch your
world change in miraculous ways.
I encourage you to make a
committment to alighn yourself
with the true meaning of
