The

The
purpose of this class is to teach
each student the metaphysics
behind A Course in Miracles so
once understood, the text and
exercises will be very easy to
read and understand, while
putting emphasis in the
application of the Course, not
the theoretical understanding.

Practicing
A Course in Miracles:
|
Most
Course in Miracles' study groups
focus on the intellectual
understanding of the course as
opposed to the application. The
challenge with that approach is
that it keeps the ego alive by
engaging the intellect as opposed
to promoting trust, which is the
most vital ingredient in the
surrendering and forgiveness
process. This class is designed
to lead students to the practical
application of the Course's
teachings into every area of
their life, just like Nick
applies it to every area of his
life.

Myth
#1: The Course is
deep.
That is far from the
truth. A Course in
Miracles is probably the
easiest Course to learn.
Once the core principles
of what the Course
teaches are understood,
you won't even have to
pick up the book ever
again. "I have
made every effort to use
words that are almost
impossible to distort,
but it is always
possible to twist
symbols around if you
wish."T-3.I.3:11
Myth
#2: The Course needs to
be studied.
Not true! A Course
in Miracles was never
intended to be studied
but to be practiced. The
theoretical
understanding of the
Course will never lead
their students to the
experience the Course is
aiming at. "Without
the practical
application the Workbook
provides, the Text would
reman largely a series
of abstractions which
would hardly suffice to
bring about the thought
reversal at which the
Course aims."

Myth
#3: The Course is
important.
Not true at all.
"...forget this course,
and come with wholly
empty hands unto your
God."

The
Course is helping us
understand how we came
to believe that we are
separate from our
Source. We think we have
many problems, when in
reality one single
solution solves every
one of our seeming
challenges. "Every
problem is the same to
Him, because each one is
solved in just the same
respect and through the

Escape
from New York!:
|
Undoing
the ego is a process that
requires faith, courage, and
willingness. Since the ego is
undone gradually, it goes through
stages. Employing the Escape from
New York metaphor, Nick shares
with students what the process
entails. Using his own personal
experience, as well as experience
of other Course in Miracles'
students and teachers, helps
participants deal with the fear
that often arises when the ego
becomes threatened. In simple
words, Nick is there to help
remind them that whatever
experience they may be having,
everything is going fine, and
that there is nothing to fear,
for they are not in danger.

Teleconferences:
|
Nick
offers Course in Miracles'
practice classes via
teleconference on a donation
basis without anyone being
turned away because of inability
to contribute. This is a great
opportunity for Nick to share
with students his experience as
he put the principles of A Course
in Miracles into practice. It
also allows for students to bring
some of their fears and doubts to
the light, as Nick gently
clarifies that even when
everything seems to be falling
apart, in the larger scheme of
things everything is actually
falling together for the very
first time. This is a wonderful
form of support. In Nick's own
words; "Had it not been for
great teachers who were willing
to practice the Course and shared
with me their direct experience,
I don't know if I would have been
able to let go and let God the
way I had to, for it requires a
lot of trust and surrender.
However, after the experiences I
have had, all I can say is, it is
not at scary as it seem. It is
actually quite funny to be afraid
of nothing." "How foolish to

all! Your defenses will not work.

get flooded with email from
people all over the world who
want to work with me. And to me,
doing this kind of work is
something I don feel I should be
charging for. I can charge for my
time and effort but not for
sharing something that Spirit
provides freely. So for those who
are interested in having me work
with them personally, my
suggested love offering would
$125 per session, not per
hour, per session. If
they cannot pay the suggested
love offering, they can pay
whatever they are able afford,
and even if that is a challenge,
nobody will be turned
away for inability to
pay. This work is something I
love doing and I trust that it
has to do with my life's
calling. If interested,

ACIM
at Your Place!:
|
Because
of the love I feel for the
teachings of the Course, and the
amazing experiences I have had
since I started practicing it, I
not only love to share what ACIM
is about, I also love to assist
others, especially during times
when things tend to get a little
challenging. The way this works
is, if you can get a group of
Course's students to get together
at your home, I would be willing
to show up on a love offering
basis, just to cover personal
expenses. No one will be turned
away because of inability to
share. I also would ask the host
to allow me to stay at his/her
place while I am in town.
Ideally, I would rather have few
meeting so that I can make the
trip worthwhile financially. If
you are interested in hosting an
ACIM practice group at your home,
contact
me so that we can go over any
details. Ideally, 10 people at
$20 a person is suggested. Please
be aware that the charge is not
for teaching the course. It is
for travel and personal expenses.
